The spear worm from Minda Lures makes a great bait to be used on scrounger jig heads. The picture shown above is a 4″ bait and is rigged on a 3/16oz scrounger. The seductive action of a spear worm is a great place to begin for Bass and it works especially well for Smallmouth Bass and is one of my personal favorites! If you are looking for a bigger bait offering, the 7″ spear worm on a heavier scrounger may be just the thing to target bigger fish.
