Where are the scroungers?

This is a question many people have been asking and without going into a lot of detail, I would like to shed some light on the current situation as I understand it to be. It’s time to put an end to the many rumors spreading among anglers and the various places on the Internet having some sort of distorted version of the facts displayed to the public.

During the summer of 2009, an agreement was made between AML and the Luck e Strike corporation to produce and market the scrounger jig head. The main goal: to get the scrounger jig in BPS and many other national chain stores.

Within a couple months, the agreement fell apart, the contract was breached and now fisherman everywhere suffer the consequences of stopped production of the quality AML scrounger head.  AML has been forced to stop production of the scrounger pending appearing in a Missouri court to dispute a temporary restraining order filed by Luck e Strike corporation. Unfortunately, the court date had to be delayed because Scott from AML who has been suffering with cancer couldn’t put-off a badly needed surgery to combat his progressing cancer any longer. The re-scheduled date is March 10th.

In short of it all, the Luck e Strike corporation, who (in my opinion) breached contract due to non-payment as per the agreement, whom acquired all existing AML supplies and production molds, who suddenly couldn’t produce the scrounger as expected, makes one last ditch effort to crush AML. Could it be that they want the scrounger for themselves to capitalize on all the recent hype? Why else would LS stop AML’s production via a frivolous restraining order.

Now, I know everyone is looking for scroungers, demand is high and stock is low everywhere. You may even see a Luck e Strike knock-off scrounger online at the BPS website from time to time, then gone, then back, then gone again. They advertise all kinds of scroungers in the catalog but, can you get them? The price has been literally cut in half, can they be the same quality, I doubt it. Will they swim the same, I doubt it. Fact is, if you want cheap, you can get it from Luck e Strike. Just remember, you get what you pay for. If you want a quality scrounger, wait a little while longer and when all this BS is settled in court, some real scroungers will return to the market. Not only will they return, they may even return with a full story including the documentation of the facts as documented by a court.

The truth will prevail and be documented in the end!
